BMW has launched the new 2019 S 1000 RR at the Milan motor show (EICMA) 2018. This new supersport has gained more power, lost weight and is much more technological. The design is also new, with new fairing, headlights and ergonomics.

The new 2019 BMW S 1000 RR features a new engine with “ShiftCam” technology. It is 4 kg lighter than the previous version and delivers 207 hp of maximum power. The total weight of the bike fell to 197 kg fully loaded. If you use the “M” package, it drops even further to 193.5 kg.

The suspension is new and had the geometry tuned, for better handling, greater traction and crystalline feedback in the limit range. As standard, the bike has the Pro gearshift assistance, for shifts without the use of the clutch.

All electronic parts have been revised and improved, especially Dynamic Traction Control, Wheelie Control, ABS Pro and Ride Modes. There is also available launch control and pit lane limiter as options.
