Kawasaki has launched the 2019 Z400 at the Milan motor show (EICMA) 2018. As occurred with the Ninja 300, it arrives to replace the Z300. It brings new design, a little closer to the Z650, with new LED headlight. With the new trellis chassis, it lost 3 kg, compared to the Z300.

The engine is the new twin-cylinder 399 cc and up to 48 hp maximum power. In addition to the new engine, it also gains the assist/slipper clutch for easier and faster gear shifting. The instrument panel is the same as the Z650, with an analog style tachometer and LCD screen in the center.

The new Z400 will hit European stores in early 2019.
