New 2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is unveiled in Europe
Kawasaki unveiled in Europe the new 2019 Versys 1000. This model arrives full of news, among them the design. In the front, for example, the changes are more evident, with new headlights and blinkers. Incidentally, headlights, flashlights and flashers are LEDs in this model. The SE version also won the LED cornering light.
The novelties are also mechanical, like the Electronic Valves Acceleration. According to the brand, Electronic Valves Acceleration allow the ECU to control the volume of fuel (via fuel injectors) and air (via throttle valves) delivered to the engine. The optimum fuel injection and throttle valve position result in a smooth, natural engine response and optimum engine output.
Regarding brakes, the 2019 Versys 1000 is fitted with KIBS (Kawasaki intelligent anti-lock braking system) as standard. This system is the supersport level high-precision brake management system. The 310 mm front discs are now fixed by highly rigid monobloc radial clamp, complemented by a front radial brake master cylinder.
The windshield is adjustable and in the SE version it is larger and wider. The panel has a part in LCD and in the SE version it is colored TFT. The SE version also received hand guards, electronically adjustable suspension and quick shift.
It is already available in Europe.
