KTM reveals 790 Adventure R, its most extreme adventure bike
KTM revealed at the Motorcycle Show in Milan (EICMA) 2018, the 790 Adventure R. According to the brand, this is its most extreme adventure bike and was developed considering what the adventure and rally racers wanted.
It is born with KTM off-road racing DNA and is equipped for the toughest terrain conditions. It offers impressive autonomy with its 20 liter fuel tank. The chassis is brand new and the WP 48mm XPLOR inverted front suspension leaves the new KTM 790 Adventure R ready for endless exploration.
The engine is a 799 cc twin cylinder that has been tuned to deliver most of the torque in the lower rpm range. It offers up to 94 hp maximum power.
The minimum ground clearance on this bike is 263 mm, with seat height 880 mm. It has double radial disc with 4 pistons of 320 mm in the front and 2 pistons floating of 260 mm in the rear. There is ABS including cornering with an off-road option and can be switched off.
The KTM 790 Adventure R arrives in European stores later this year.
